Cookie Policy
Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026
This policy explains how BDH Streams uses cookies and similar technologies on bdhstreams.com, in English, French (/fr/) and Spanish (/es/). BDH Streams is a website of BDH Collective Inc. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They help the site work, remember your choices and, for some tools, show how the site is used.
This policy also covers similar tools that do not use a cookie: browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), tracking pixels in pages and emails, content from other companies embedded in our pages, such as a video player, and scripts that read details about your device.
2. Who is responsible
The company responsible for this site and for the cookies and similar tools it uses is:
- BDH Collective Inc.
- 200-4388 Rue Saint-Denis, Montréal, QC H2J 2L1, Canada
- Quebec enterprise number (NEQ): 1171250237
- Person in charge of personal information: Founder, [email protected]
3. Consent on this site today
Google Analytics runs on this site only after you allow Analytics, the Meta pixel only after you allow Advertising and social media, and the TikTok pixel only if you also switch TikTok on by itself. All three are loaded by our Google Tag Manager container, which loads only after you allow one of those categories. None of them runs before you choose. The video player sends its own viewing statistics once you load it (see Embedded content and chat in section 4). The cookies and similar tools that run are listed in section 5, with the category each one belongs to and the company behind it.
Our consent tool is active on this site. On your first visit, a banner asks for your choice, with the buttons Reject all, Choose and Accept all. Nothing optional loads before you choose. It holds back the video player until you click the box shown in its place or allow Embedded content. The Privacy settings link at the bottom of every page opens a panel where you can change or withdraw your choice at any time, category by category. The Your Privacy Choices link opens the same panel at its US privacy choices. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of advertising and data sharing. We keep your choice in your browser for 6 months, in a cookie named bdhc_consent and a copy in your browser’s local storage, and ask again after that. It also sends your choice to this website so the website can set the same cookie. The website does not keep a copy of your choice. To limit abuse, it counts those requests for about an hour under a scrambled form of your IP address. We also keep a record of each choice on our consent server, consent.bcall.dev, as proof of what you chose and when; our Privacy Policy lists what a record contains and how long we keep it. The Cloudflare Turnstile check on the contact page still loads whatever you choose. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the Privacy settings link.
You can withdraw any consent you have given us at any time by writing to [email protected].
4. Categories of cookies and similar tools
We group cookies and similar tools into the same seven categories on all our sites. For each category, we describe the kind of tools it covers, and then we say what actually runs on this site.
Necessary
Tools that make the site work. They keep you signed in, remember your language, protect forms from spam and let payments go through. The site cannot run without them.
On this site: WordPress and ARMember cookies that keep members signed in, a session cookie our server may set when you open a page, a WordPress browser storage entry that remembers whether your browser can show emoji, WPML cookies that remember your language, the LiteSpeed page cache cookie, Cloudflare security cookies, Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form, and cookies set by the payment provider you use, on payment pages only. This site has no WooCommerce shop and no shopping cart, so no WooCommerce cookie is set. An earlier version of this policy listed WooCommerce cookies in error.
Security and fraud checks
Tools that check whether visits and clicks on ads are genuine, for example by reading details about your device, such as your screen, your fonts, your graphics card and your time zone.
On this site: no such tool runs. Fraud Blocker, a tool of this kind run by Fraud Blocker LLC in the United States, is not installed on this site.
Preferences
Tools that remember small things you choose, like a link you followed or a display setting.
On this site: no separate preference tool runs today. The video player’s saved playback position is listed in section 5.
Analytics
Tools that count visits and show us which pages people read, such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, run by Google LLC in the United States.
On this site: Google Analytics 4 (G-Z9XJG66E8Y), loaded by our Google Tag Manager container (GTM-W4FLCXBM), both run by Google LLC in the United States. Google Analytics runs only after you allow Analytics in the banner or the Privacy settings panel; if you allow only Advertising and social media, Google Tag Manager loads but Google Analytics stays off. It sets the _ga and _ga_Z9XJG66E8Y cookies and records the pages you open, including the pages for a single show or episode, and how you use them: scrolling, clicks on links to other sites, file downloads, use of our forms and searches on the site. The settings of our Google tag allow it to detect an email address, phone number or postal address that you type into a form on our pages, and to send it to Google. The video player’s own viewing statistics are described under Embedded content and chat.
Advertising and social media
Tools from advertising and social media companies, such as Meta and TikTok, that can follow what you do on a site and match it to your accounts with them, to show you ads and count sales. Under some US state laws this counts as selling or sharing your information.
On this site: the Meta pixel, run by Meta Platforms, Inc. in the United States, loaded by our Google Tag Manager container after you allow Advertising and social media. It sets the _fbp cookie. The TikTok pixel runs only if you also switch TikTok on by itself in the Privacy settings panel, under this category; Accept all does not turn it on. It sets the _ttp, _tt_enable_cookie, ttcsid and ttcsid_CQ3CD1JC77U0CETNE0NG cookies, and its settings allow it to detect an email address or phone number that you type into a form on our pages, and to send it to TikTok. TikTok sends data to China. Neither pixel runs on the free episodes page or on the pages for a single show or episode, whatever you allowed.
Email tracking
Tools that record whether you open our emails and which links you click.
On this site: Emailit, for the emails we send you, through tracking links on trackgo.bdhstreams.com. It sets nothing on this website. To object to it, write to [email protected].
Embedded content and chat
Video players, booking tools, galleries and chat that other companies run and that a site embeds in its pages.
On this site: the video player on the home page, the free episodes page, the show pages and the watch pages. It does not load until you click the box shown in its place or allow Embedded content in the banner or the Privacy settings panel. Once loaded, our video players are set to start playing on their own, where your browser allows it. The player is run by Publit.io and reaches you through streams.bdhstreams.com, with the player files served from static.publit.io and the videos from streams.bdhstreams.com or media.publit.io. When a video plays, the player sends viewing statistics to Publit.io at api.publit.io: a code for the video, a random ID for that play, the time the play started, how long the video took to load, the address of the player page, the length of the video, how much of it has played and which seconds have played. When a video starts, the player may also load an icon font from Google Fonts (fonts.gstatic.com). There is no chat, booking tool or gallery on this site.
5. Cookies and similar tools on this site
When you open a page, a script from WPML, the language tool on this site, may set the WPML language cookie listed below, and Cloudflare may set its security cookies. WordPress writes the wpEmojiSettingsSupports entry, listed below, to your browser storage. The other cookies and storage entries below appear only when you open or use a page or feature that needs them: a members-only page, the contact page, a page with a video, signing in or paying.

_lscache_vary | LiteSpeed Cache (this site) | Necessary | Tells the page cache which version of a page to show you. |
__cf_bm, cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Necessary | Bot protection and security checks. Cloudflare sits between your device and our server. |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Cloudflare | Necessary | Checks that a person, not a robot, is sending the contact form. Loads when you open the contact page, whatever you choose in the banner or the Privacy settings panel, and runs on the contact page only. |
bdhc_consent (cookie, and a copy in local storage) | BDH Collective Inc. (this site’s consent tool) | Necessary | Remembers the choice you make in the banner or the Privacy settings panel, for 6 months. Set when you make a choice. It holds a random identifier, your choice for each category, the language and the dates of your choice. |
| Cookies set by the payment provider you use | The payment provider you choose: PayPal, Stripe, 2Checkout or Authorize.net | Necessary | Let your payment go through. Set on payment pages only. |
_ga, _ga_Z9XJG66E8Y | Google LLC (Google Analytics 4, loaded by Google Tag Manager) | Analytics | Counts visits and shows us which pages people read. Set only after you allow Analytics. |
_fbp | Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta pixel, loaded by Google Tag Manager) | Advertising and social media | Lets Meta recognise your browser and match your visit to your Meta account, to show you ads and count sales. Set only after you allow Advertising and social media. |
_ttp, _tt_enable_cookie, ttcsid, ttcsid_CQ3CD1JC77U0CETNE0NG | TikTok (TikTok pixel, loaded by Google Tag Manager) | Advertising and social media | Lets TikTok recognise your browser and match your visit to your TikTok account, to show you ads and count sales. Set only if you switch TikTok on by itself in the Privacy settings panel. TikTok sends data to China. |
| No website cookie | Emailit | Email tracking | Open and click tracking in the emails we send, through tracking links on trackgo.bdhstreams.com. |
| Cookies set by the video player, if any | Publit.io, through streams.bdhstreams.com, static.publit.io, media.publit.io and api.publit.io | Embedded content and chat | Plays the videos. Loads only after you click the box shown in its place or allow Embedded content in the banner or the Privacy settings panel. Sends viewing statistics to api.publit.io while a video plays. Any cookie it sets belongs to those hosts. |
publitio-time:* | Publit.io video player, on streams.bdhstreams.com, in browser storage (localStorage) | Embedded content and chat | Remembers where you stopped the trailer so it can start again from there. Written while the trailer plays, and removed when it ends. |
6. What this list does not include, and why
- Cookie lifetimes: each tool sets the lifetime of its own cookies, and those lifetimes can change, so we do not state them here.
- Google Fonts: our pages no longer load fonts from Google Fonts. The video player, once you load it, may load an icon font from Google Fonts when a video starts. No cookie is set. It is covered in our Privacy Policy because your IP address reaches Google.
- Social media links: the footer links to our pages on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. They are plain links and set nothing until you follow them.
7. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the site or the tools it uses change, and we change the date at the top of this page. When a change is material, such as a new tool or a new purpose, we tell you, and we ask for your consent where consent is needed.
